Do I need modeling or pageant experience?
Not at all! Southern Kingdom is designed for beginners and experienced contestants alike. Every contestant is guided throughout the experience.
Will contestants receive guidance?
Yes! Contestants receive direction for photoshoots, stage presence, and interview preparation, with questions provided in advance.

Who plans the photoshoot and video?
Our professional media team works alongside Southern Kingdom to guide each contestant’s experience from start to finish.
Do contestants choose their music?
Yes! Music is selected from a curated, age-appropriate list.
What should contestants wear?
Contestants bring outfit options that reflect their personality and style. Final selections are guided for a polished, camera-ready look.
Are props or themed looks allowed?
Yes, simple and age-appropriate props may be used with approval.
Will contestants be guided during the photoshoot?
Absolutely! No experience is needed—our team provides full direction.

⏰ Participation & Expectations
Is attendance required?
Yes. Attendance is required for all official competition activities.
What happens if something is missed?
Some parts of the experience may not be able to be recreated, so attendance is strongly encouraged.
⚖️ Judging & Scoring
How is the competition judged?
Contestants are scored in three categories:
• 🎥 Photoshoot Video – 50 points
• 👠 Runway & Stage Presence – 30 points
• 🎤 On-Stage Interview – 20 points

What are judges looking for?
Confidence, personality, communication, and overall presentation.
Are judges fair and unbiased?
Yes. Judges are selected carefully and follow standardized scoring procedures.
Can scores be viewed?
Individual score sheets are confidential. A summary may be requested after the event at the Director’s discretion.
👕 Rehearsals & Attire
What do contestants wear for rehearsals?
The official Southern Kingdom T-shirt with jeans or jean shorts.
Is the T-shirt included?
No. The required T-shirt is $35 and purchased separately.
💳 Entry Fees & Payments
How much is the entry fee?
The total entry fee is $299, with a $99 deposit to secure your spot.
How do payments work?
A $99 deposit secures your spot, followed by scheduled payments to complete your entry.
Are payments refundable?
No. All payments are non-refundable.
⭐ Optional Programs
Are optional programs required?
No. All optional programs are completely voluntary and do not affect the official competition score
🛡 Supervision Policy
All contestants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or approved chaperone during official Southern Kingdom Pageants activities.
The accompanying adult must remain on-site or readily accessible throughout the event.

A free, family-friendly introduction where you meet the team, learn about the program, and participate in a mini photoshoot.
