Southern Kingdom Pageants was founded with a vision—to create an experience where young women feel confident, supported, and inspired to shine. Dawn Bright leads with heart, faith, and a passion for helping every contestant discover her confidence and purpose.

With a background in modeling and theater, Dawn stood out among thousands of contestants, winning a modeling competition with JCPenney and earning a contract with Today’s Woman in Atlanta. These early experiences helped shape her passion for confidence, presentation, and personal growth.

She has since produced and directed fashion show events in the Amarillo area, including the Botanical Gardens Poinsettia Luncheon and the Fall in Love Fashion Show. Through these events, Dawn worked closely with participants—guiding them in stage presence, confidence, and presentation while creating exciting runway experiences.

In addition, she founded and led the STRETCH (Strengthen Their Reach Educating Texas Christian Homeschoolers) co-op, serving over 40 families. This reflects her heart for mentorship, community, and creating environments where young people can grow and thrive.

Dawn is also a student of Ministry and Outreach through Oral Roberts University, which continues to influence the values-driven and encouraging environment she brings to Southern Kingdom Pageants.

Today, Dawn serves as the Creative Director of the Southern Kingdom experience—personally guiding contestants during their showcase sessions, helping them feel confident, natural, and camera-ready.

Alexander leads the filming, photography, and post-production for the Southern Kingdom Showcase Experience.

Each contestant’s session is carefully captured and edited into a one-minute video that highlights her personality, confidence, and presence. From music timing to visual flow, every detail is thoughtfully crafted to create a polished, on-stage moment.

✨ Fashion Shows & Community Events

Dawn has played an active role in producing and participating in local fashion show events throughout the Amarillo area, including the Botanical Gardens Poinsettia Luncheon and the Fall in Love Fashion Show.

These events featured live runway experiences showcasing clothing and accessories from boutiques such as Just Jewelry and JJ Boutique.

Working both behind the scenes and alongside participants, Dawn guided young women as they prepared, practiced, and stepped confidently into the spotlight. These moments reflect her passion for helping girls build confidence, develop stage presence, and gain real-world experience in a fun, encouraging environment.
