Southern Kingdom Pageants is committed to creating a safe, positive, and fun experience where every contestant shines. Our goal is to provide a structured, exciting, and memorable pageant experience for every participant.

By registering and participating, contestants and their parent(s)/guardian(s) agree to the following policies:

💫How Entry Fees Are Used

Your entry fee helps Southern Kingdom Pageants create a professional, fun, and unforgettable experience for every contestant. Fees are allocated to:

• Rehearsals – practice and prepare for the big day

• Professional photoshoots & pre-pageant videos – so every contestant shines on screen and stage

• Workshops and coaching sessions – including runway, modeling, and stage presence

• Venue rental and stage setup – creating a safe and exciting competition environment

• Pageant staff & coordination –photographers, videographer, judges, emcees, and behind-the-scenes support

• Marketing & promotional materials – advertising, social media, and program booklets

• Crowns, sashes, and prizes – included for each contestant

• One program booklet – included for the contestant

Please note: Production T-shirts ($35 each), additional program booklets for family/friends, and tickets for audience attendance are not included in the entry fee and are purchased separately.

Your entry fee ensures every contestant enjoys the full pageant experience, from rehearsals to the final stage walk, while optional items let families celebrate and support their contestant even more.

💫 🎁 7. Sponsored Prizes & Awards

Certain prizes, gifts, or awards may be provided by sponsors or third parties.

Southern Kingdom Pageants is not responsible for the fulfillment, availability, or conditions of any sponsored items.

💫 8. Conflict of Interest

• Contestants or immediate family members may not be employed by Southern Kingdom Pageants, its directors, or affiliated companies.

• Judges cannot evaluate contestants with whom they have a personal or professional conflict.

By participating, contestants and parents/guardians grant Southern Kingdom Pageants permission to use:

• Photography

• Video recordings

• Testimonials

• Promotional materials

For marketing, promotional, and educational purposes. Written revocation must be submitted prior to the event.

💫 10. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation is voluntary. Contestants and families assume responsibility for:

• Personal preparation

• Travel and transportation

• Personal belongings

Southern Kingdom Pageants is not responsible for lost or stolen items and is released from liability except in cases of gross negligence.

💫 11. Communication Consent

Participants consent to receive official communications via:

• Email

• Text message

• Phone

Opt-out instructions will be provided where applicable.

💫 12. Required Forms

Before participating, contestants must submit:

• Registration / Participation Agreement

• Liability Waiver

• Media Release Form

• Communication Consent Form

• Forms must be submitted at least with first installment.

💫 1. Eligibility

• Contestants must compete in their correct age or grade division.

• Age is determined as of October 1st of the competition year.

• Contestants must reside in or attend school within the Texas state served by Southern Kingdom Pageants.

• Proof of age, residency, or enrollment may be requested.

• Southern Kingdom reserves the final decision on eligibility.

💫 2. Truthful Representation

All registration information must be accurate and truthful.
Submitting false or misleading information may result in disqualification without refund.

💫 3. Code of Conduct

We want everyone to have fun and feel respected! Contestants, families, and guests agree to:

• Demonstrate respectful behavior at all times

• Follow schedules and staff instructions

• Maintain age-appropriate presentation and conduct

• Avoid disruptive, inappropriate, or unsportsmanlike behavior

Southern Kingdom reserves the right to remove participants for Code of Conduct violations without refund.

💫 4. Attire & Production T-Shirt

• Contestants must provide required competition attire, which should be modest and age-appropriate.

• Final approval of attire is at the discretion of Southern Kingdom Pageants.

• All contestants must purchase a $35 Production T-Shirt, to be worn during:

  • Rehearsals

  • Group photoshoots

  • Selected pageant activities

T-shirt fees are separate from the entry fee and non-refundable once ordered.

💫 5. Judging & Scoring

• Judges are carefully selected based on qualifications.

• Scoring follows published criteria.

• Judges’ decisions are final.

• Individual scores remain confidential.

Placements are determined solely by tabulated results.

Your entry includes the full Southern Kingdom Pageant Experience, featuring:

• Participation in the official state-level competition
• The Lights, Camera, Crown! showcase video experience
• Structured competition phases
• Professional event production
• Qualified judging with standardized scoring
• Official contestant recognition
• Crown and sash for division titleholders
• Promotional opportunities within the Southern Kingdom system

Contestants who complete their entry early may receive access to additional experiences designed to enhance their Southern Kingdom journey.

These opportunities may include:

• Group photo opportunities
• Fun promotional photoshoots
• Early access to special experiences and activities

These moments are designed to build confidence, create memories, and give contestants more opportunities to shine throughout the season.

• Participation in certain activities requires payments to be up to date
• Entry fees are non-refundable

Contestants who do not meet deadlines may forfeit participation or eligibility for activities.
